NIZWA: Nizwa Industrial City, affiliated with the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates 'Madayn', signed on Monday a long-term investment usufruct contract to establish a project specialised in chemical mixing and oilfield equipment maintenance, with an investment exceeding RO 4 million.

The project will be built on an area exceeding 25,000 square metres and is expected to contribute to enhancing industrial activities associated with the oil and gas sectors, localising specialised services and projects in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, alongside supporting in-country value and economic and industrial activity in the governorate.

The project comes within the framework of Madayn's efforts to attract qualitative investments to industrial cities in the Sultanate of Oman and provide an integrated industrial environment supporting economic diversification and the growth of the industrial sector.

The contract was signed by Abdullah bin Said al Balushi, Director-General of Nizwa Industrial City, and Mohammed bin Hamad al Junaibi on behalf of Rabou Haima Trading and Contracting Company (the executing company for the project). - ONA
